Terms & Conditions for Rosedene Guesthouse: as of 1 January 2026
- All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of 15% VAT.
- Rates include an English and Continental breakfast.
- Rates are subject to change per season (contact us for updated rates).
- To confirm a booking, a deposit of 50% of the reservation/booking value is required, unless agreed upon.
- All bookings not confirmed by payment will be released 90 days before arrival date.
- Payments:
- Payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Proof of payment into our bank account must be confirmed via email with a Proof of Payment
- MasterCard, Visa card, cash and bank transfers are accepted.
- All bookings must be confirmed by email and will be subject to our cancellation policy below.
- Cancellations:
- Ninety (90) calendar days prior to arrival: no cancellation fee
- Sixty (60) calendar days prior to arrival: 30% cancellation fee
- Thirty (30) calendar days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee
- Cancellation of any reservation must be in writing. Emails are accepted.
- In the event that a confirmed reservation is amended in respect of the length of stay and/or type of accommodation and/or services prior to the date of arrival, the establishment reserves the right to revise any discounts quoted in the Reservation Confirmation and/or to cancel the reservation in total or in part and/or charge a cancellation fee.
- Our check in time is from 14h00 and we request that guests vacate their rooms by 11h00 on the day of their departure.
- Rosedene Guesthouse is covered for public liability and guests should have all other personal insurance arranged.
- Whilst every reasonable precaution has been taken to ensure the safety of our guests and their possessions while with us, the owners of Rosedene Guesthouse and staff will not be held responsible for any damage, injury or loss sustained for any reason.
- Children are welcome. Children must be supervised and should not use the pool, pool area, or public area, unless accompanied by an adult. Rosedene staff will not supervise children in any way.
- These terms and conditions may change from time to time. This takes immediate effect and will be applicable to all current and future bookings until the date of any changes have been notified by Rosedene Guesthouse Management.
